5th Column III [THERE WILL BE BLOOD]
Release: 2/28/10
I. [BLOOD FLEA]
The flea as some of you may already know, encapsulates the brands philosophy. Written in the 60's Robert Taber's counterinsurgency classic, [War of the Flea] describes the guerrilla solider as a fleas on a dog: "The guerrilla fights the war of the flea, and his military enemy suffers the dog’s disadvantages: too much to defend; too small, ubiquitous, and agile an enemy to come to grips with.”
While the [Back Stab] graphic; The two-headed dragons devouring the universe, remains our eternally evolving brand signature, The Flea logo is our standard; our cry to arms, our war logo.
II. [ZODIAC]
I have always been interested in the psychology of serial killers. The human instinct to kill for the sake of killing is in all of us. What separates most of us from a Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacey, the series of events in ones life that lead them to an obsessed killing spree to feed some kind of hidden void. To me, it really does not have anything to do with GOOD or EVIL, right or wrong.
The [Zodiac] was a serial killer who operated in Northern California in the late 1960s. His identity remains unknown. The Zodiac killer coined his name in a series of taunting letters he sent to the press. His letters included four cryptograms (or ciphers), three of which have yet to be solved.
The Zodiac murdered victims in Vallejo, Lake Berryessa, and San Francisco between December 1968 and October 1969. Four men and three women between the ages of 16 and 29 were targeted. Numerous suspects have been named by law enforcement and amateur investigators, but no conclusive evidence has surfaced.
In April 2004, the San Francisco Police Department marked the case "inactive" but re-opened it some time before March 2007. The case also remains open in the city of Vallejo as well as in Napa and Solano Counties. The California Department of Justice has maintained an open case file on the Zodiac murders since 1969.
After [I Flea NY] & [Los Angeles] 5th Column Presents to the San Francisco Bay Area: [Zodiac]
This MAY complete my trilogy for my III most loved cites in America: NY LA SF
III. [El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz] or Malcolm X
At Rogue Status, I began a series based on the book [Blood in my eye] by George Jackson; which we later followed with [DTA x BGF] it depicted George Jackson's prison break sketch & Black Guerrila Family logo on the back which Jackson himself had founded while in prison. Jackson is a hero of mine and someone I have alway aspired to; After whom comes Malcolm X:
The life of & history of this man should be an inspiration to everyone. Black or White, Malcolm represents the progression of a man from hustling to student of Islam, From Minister to Leader to reformist to martyr. In my opinion he is one of the greatest and most influential Americans in history. If you don't know, don't ask someone. Go learn your history America.
5th Column III consists of 3 designs probably because I felt these three concepts work so well together, and to offer a group of random tee's would muddle these issues.
Stay tuned, more to come..

Candy Lady - Brick Squad
This is a good look for 1017 Brick Squad. It's like the trap version of Young Money "Bedrock" or "Every Girl".
